Ariki Backpackers Hostel - New Plymouth

The location of the hostel was perfect, just a short walk away from the bus stop and close to the New Plymouth Club. It was also conveniently located near supermarkets, the beach, pubs, and restaurants. the staff was amazing and provided useful tips and recommendations. the kitchen was well set out and there was a shower with the room. the beds were soft and clean, providing a comfortable stay. the hostel had a pleasant surf vibe in the evening.

Felt safe and secure, no reason to complain.

the location was also ideal, with bus services nearby for exploring the area. the private room I stayed in had a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. the staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local activities. the shared kitchen had all the amenities I needed for cooking, and there was a lovely garden to relax in after a busy day.

The transportation is also very convenient as the bus stop is located just a few meters from the hotel entrance. The hotel facilities are nice, especially the balcony which offers a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean view. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They give great tips on what to see and where to eat.

Great Thanksgiving Experience!!

We had an overall great Thanksgiving experience at this hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions for local events. Plus, the location was perfect with easy access to the city center and local attractions. We also enjoyed the free towels and bike rentals offered by the hostel, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable.

There were some areas that could use some improvement. The bathroom facilities were a bit outdated, and some parts were broken or in need of repair.
